Certified and Industry Related Training
AWCC offers a wide variety of top quality educational session each
year in various locations throughout the state. The association
is committed to provide annual opportunities, including participating
in the Connections Convention and Trade Show, held annually in Las
Vegas. Each educational session, whether on a state or national
level, is geared to provide practical and easily usable information.
Programs include technical training for your and your staff on the
latest cleaning topics such as mold, restoration and hard floor
care. Some programs are for the business owner to help your business
become more profitable and competitive.
Connections
Convention and Trade Show
Did you know that the AWCC currently participates along with 12
other trade associations in the country with two national industry
events? Connections, a non-profit 501 (C6) corporation, is about
bringing together our industry and finding ways to work together
to improve the quality and technical proficiency of the work done
for consumers. There are 12 National and Regional Trade Associations
currently involved in Connections who are dedicated to working together
to improve the educational opportunities in our industry. Education
is a major key to improving our rapidly growing industry, get involved
and be a part of the next Connections event.
In
2006, the AWCC will be participating in two Connections events –
the Connections
Conference scheduled for May 4-6 in Clearwater, Florida and
the Connections
Convention and Trade Show scheduled for September 21-23rd in
Las Vegas. One of the benefits of being an AWCC member is that you
receive a discount when attending either of these events. For more

Newsletter
One of the benefits of an Association of Wisconsin Cleaning Contractors
is being able to inform and educate other members about your products.
By advertising your product in the newsletter, the product you sell
is being seen by all members of the association, past members and
industry related professionals. Call the AWCC office to current
advertising rates.
Business
Insurance Program
There is now a unified approach to your varied insurance needs.
West Bend Mutual Insurance company currently offers a Business Insurance
Plan for AWCC members. As a member of the AWCC and a participant
in the program, you’ll be eligible for a discount on your
contractors business owners coverage provided there’s adequate
member participation and favorable loss experience for the AWCC.
All premiums and losses are pooled. Umbrella and Workers’
Compensation coverage, however, will be excluded. An experience
rating formula is used to annually calculate the group experience
discount, based on the previous three years of loss experience.
The discount will change annually and will be applied to your renewal
premium. This program is available only through local independent
insurance agents who represent West Bend Mutual. Click here, to
